How we work
Use of AI – with Responsibility and Added Value for Clients

At nbkLegal, we use Artificial Intelligence where it truly makes sense: to structure, analyse and accelerate processes. The time gained in this way is passed directly on to our clients.

Our principle: no personal data or trade secrets are ever processed with AI – attorney–client confidentiality (§ 203 German Criminal Code) has the highest priority. All results are carefully reviewed and professionally approved.

The particular added value of nbkLegal lies in the fact that prompting is based on broad professional expertise: as a partner in a business law firm and as a long-standing General Counsel & Senior Vice President. This creates results that not only address isolated legal questions but also cover entire projects and processes – more rounded, interdisciplinary and practice-oriented.

This saves time and costs that can instead be invested in implementing those solutions that cannot be delegated to AI – and that make the decisive difference for our clients.

Reality First Method
Before large projects get underway, we gain a realistic picture of the starting point through interviews, analyses and a look at the situation from different perspectives.

A comprehensive view with the interdisciplinary 360-degree method

In this format, we combine media-proven presentation training with in-depth analysis of personality structures, decision-making logic and organisational dynamics.

Martin Nimbach
Interdisciplinary scientist, university lecturer and consultant with international experience in over 50 countries. Combines neuroscience, AI and technical excellence to uncover weaknesses in organisations and develop sustainable solutions – particularly valuable for technology-driven companies.

Martin Nimbach sheds light on the systemic and technical conditions that shape behaviour and decisions, and teaches neuroleadership and negotiation tools (tactical empathy, framing, anchoring, storytelling), including immediately applicable exercise formats.

More about Cornelia
Result: Together with NBK Legal, we create a unique overview of teams and organisations – technical, psychological and communicative – that not only provides insights but also brings about lasting changes in behaviour, communication and collaboration.
Interdisciplinary approach – across Germany, Austria and Switzerland

For implementation, we are connected to a network of experienced partners from the fields of law, tax, IT, communication, ESG, culture and science. Each of them has many years of expertise in their field, and many are equally at home in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Sustainable results

We stand for strategies and solutions that are developed in an interdisciplinary manner, take into account the culture of the company and work in the long term – even in complex, cross-border projects in the DACH region.
We support companies in situations where there are no template solutions and do e.g. the following:
Strategic Turning Points – Targeted Pivots
In our work, we help clients identify the moment when change is not only necessary, but also possible and meaningful. I call this moment the pivot – the strategic fulcrum at which a system can realign without losing its integrity.
A pivot is not a rupture, but a deliberate shift in perspective that leads to new clarity. Whether in governance, leadership, or crisis management: I help recognize, shape, and wisely navigate these turning points.
The method developed by NBK Legal, which we call ‘White Space Interviews,’ helps with this.

White Space Interviews – identifying gaps before they become problems.
What it's all about

White Space Interviews are so called because they deliberately go into the ‘white spaces’ – the areas between departments, responsibilities and hierarchical levels that are often overlooked in traditional processes. This is where misunderstandings, friction and blockages often arise that are not clearly identified in day-to-day work.

Methodology

Our interviews are unbiased, structured and at the same time open enough to capture the whole picture. What makes them special is that we don't just listen, we ask questions in such a way that patterns, blind spots and unspoken issues become visible. This results in a precise picture of the situation that is based not on assumptions but on real experiences.
Scientific approach
The interviews are conducted in cooperation with scientists. They bring scientific methodology, analytical depth and a neutral perspective to the table – a decisive factor in not only conducting the interviews, but also evaluating them professionally.

Relevance from a client perspective
The result: a clear, robust starting point for any change – whether restructuring, strategy adjustment or cultural development. Decisions are no longer based on assumptions, but on a reality that was often invisible before.
On the ‘Incidents and accidents’ page, you can get an idea of our approach through short ‘real-life crime stories’. Enjoy!

That doesn't mean that everything has to be perfect. On the contrary: I enjoy working in complex environments – when progress is truly desired.
Note on transparency:
